Can I just say one thing really quick?

My inner 10-year-old is only too eager to oblige Eve every night by singing "Part of Your World", aka "The Awiel Song". Eve requires that it be performed exactly as it is on the movie, complete with scoops, giggles, shameless belting, and teenage exuberance dropping from every note. I'm taking it as a daily opportunity to perform before a rapt, very appreciative audience, and it's really really fun.

Go ahead, try it tomorrow, in the shower or something. It's very liberating to be so unabashedly hokey!

Too cute. I bet it sounds beautiful. I have to sing Annie's Tomorrow all the time. I can not carry a tune to save my life, but Kensley thinks it great and always make a request to hear it again.

You don't have to have a kid to justify rippin' it up, Disney style... I hope.

On a related note: this guy!

Very cool. Maggie just tells me to "Stop Singing!" regardless of what I'm singing. Every once in a while she will ask to "sing it together!"

Dude...Mike...that was wild! I've heard a lot of counter tenors in my day, but that guys sounds like a LADY! He doesn't really have anything between his edgy belt voice and the floaty thing, but that's the only giveaway - otherwise I would have sworn I was listening to a girl. Crazy.

If I may say, though, he doesn't have the emotion that I do. If I may say so. :) Maybe I'll have to post my own YouTube clip!

I would love a video of this!

That is a great song. I don't care who you are, that song is fun to sing! And for those of you who haven't witnessed it for yourself, it is pretty stinkin' sweet to watch little Miss Evie captivated by her mama singing to her.
